STumbling Your Way Into New Traffic

We have talked recently about using social media web sites to your advantage in the ecommerce marketplace and today I want to steer you in the direction of one of the most useful and simple ways to use social media to draw new visitors to your online business.
You could say that I stumbled upon this one by accident.
Stumble Upon
We all have web sites that we enjoy and want to share with family, friends or coworkers, but what if there was a way to save all sorts of these pages in one place and share them not only with your inner circle but also with a worldwide audience of people who share your interests?
There is a way to do precisely that as a matter of fact. It is called Stumble Upon.
When you register as a user on Stumble Upon, you can download a toolbar for use with your Internet web browser that will allow you to mark web sites that you find interesting, informative or just entertaining. When you want to check out what others found favorite-worthy, you can just click the “Stumble†button and be carried magically to other sites in your chosen subject areas.
Depending on the quality of the page (or pages) you stumble, what the subject area is and how popular they are, Stumble Upon can rake in loads of traffic on an ongoing basis. One thing to note is that you can stumble pages individually within your web site, as well as stumbling videos and even images.
Go forth and use this knowledge for good, not evil. Although if it is just slightly evil you really should let me see it!
