Introducing MyEyeglassCase.com

by Michael - August 15th, 2008

The ECP team is proud to announce the recent launch of another outstanding web site – MyEyeGlassCase.com.  The pros in our New York City web design team have once again taken a very specific niche market and provided a custom ecommerce solution complete with eye-catching visuals and a unique, fresh and professional appearance.

With the influx of new web sites fighting for their position in the Internet marketplace, Ecommerce Partners takes an unparalleled approach, starting with a tightly focused niche market and combining it with custom web site design and a search engine friendly shopping cart to target a more discriminating and specific group who are not only looking to buy a particular product but also want to buy with confidence from an ecommerce web site that is not spreading itself too broadly across the market in an attempt to be all things to all people.

MyEyeGlassCase.com is definitely focused.  From the moment you type in the web address you know already what to expect from the site and this niche web site delivers eyeglass cases in any category, color and style you might imagine from quiet and conservative to loud, bright fashion statements.

An in-depth FAQ section, detailed search feature and live customer support each help to instill and strengthen customer confidence, showing that MyEyeGlassCase.com is knowledgeable and ready to help you make the best choice for your needs.  In a world where speed has become king, this web site offers a wide selection of products, each of which fit into one common category.  These niche sites save the customer time and assures them that the company they are doing business with is focused on exactly what they need.

Introducing Sabon NYC

by Michael - July 3rd, 2008

Sabon NYC Gift BasketWhen you think of luxurious bath and body products, there is only one word you need to know.

Sabon (the Hebrew word for soap) has its origins in a small farming community in Israel back in 1974 when a young couple created their own soaps at home. Based on an ancient Aboriginal recipe they acquired while traveling, they adapted them to suit their personal taste and style.

I have to thank Lihi for giving me the heads up on Sabon NYC. Her description of the brick and mortar store left me wanting to schedule a flight to New York:

“I actually know Sabon from Israel, and I was happy to see the store in my neighborhood here (NYC).” She described employees handing out small soap samples much like snack or perfume samplers in supermarkets and department stores, as well as a water fountain in the center of the store for the express purpose of allowing people to wash their hands or refresh themselves in the serene atmosphere.

The website is as luxurious and delightful as the products it represents. I can’t wait to try the gentleman’s line of bath and body products. Being the metrosexual kinda guy that I am I’ll admit that I use cleanser and even the occasional lotion here and there. To tell the truth, I’m probably going to order the men’s shower oil, too.

Whether it is handmade soap, lotions, body scrubs, essential oils, even scented candles or home fragrances, you really need to give Sabon NYC a look. Three body spray fragrances grace the online shop’s shelves, under the name of “Body Dew”, with scents such as kiwi mango, citrus and patchouli lavender vanilla.

Sabon does not leave out mother and baby, either. Why not order an “Oh, Baby” basket as an elegant alternative to traditional baby gifts? Want a simpler gift for a friend or loved one? The soap stack may be just the thing! These and several more incredible gift baskets are available in the boutique at the Sabon NYC website.

Introducing R&S Avenue – The new address for kid fashion

by Michael - June 13th, 2008

Kids love clothes. For that you can thank Hannah Montana and Olsen twins before her.

Thank the fashion gods that there is more to kids clothes these days than just the status quo. Now there’s a company offering kids fashions that may make their parent’s just a little jealous.
Rattle from R&S AvenueThankfully there are a couple of new kids on the block who not only know the hippest, most cutting edge styles that kids want, they also make it easy to find all the latest trends for kids clothes from some of the hottest kids clothing designers all in one ultra-cool web site.

Don’t your kids deserve to look like the rock stars they are?

Stroll from R&S AvenueIf you have kids up to eight years old, Rattle & Stroll may well become your new best friends. At their website R&S Avenue, they make it simple to search for, find and buy the most unique and fun kids clothes you have ever seen, ensuring your kids are on the cutting edge no matter whether they are going to the a birthday party or summer camp.

If you’re looking for the same old thing, you will need to look elsewhere – these clothes are anything but! Shirts, shirts and pants are only the beginning. There are also rompers, hats, sunglasses, kids swim wear, underwear and even accessories for the most discriminating young and fashion-minded. Rattle & Stroll don’t wear the same old stuff – they are rockin’ kids!
Where else could you find a little girl’s dress featuring Bob Marley, Elvis or the Go-Gos, or t-shirts featuring AC/DC, the Grateful Dead or Johnny Cash? You need look no further than R&S Avenue!

I visited Rattle & Stroll on the web today and while I don’t have any kids of my own (yet), let’s just say that my little one year old nephew is going to look great while dragging his woobie and sippy cup around the house this summer. He’ll even have a cooler bathing suit than his ultra-cool uncle and that’s not easy to do!

To learn more and to see the incredible new website, visit rsavenue.

Introducing…

by Michael - May 28th, 2008

ME!

Hello everyone, I wanted to take a few minutes this morning to introduce myself. My name is Michael Nolan and I am the newest member of the eCommerce Partners family.

Just a little about me:

I am a 35 year old (dreadfully close to 36) writer currently living in Birmingham, Alabama. If you have ever been to a family reunion, I’m the oddball uncle that nobody wants to introduce but all the kids seem to flock to because I might say or do just about anything that strikes me at the time.
The world of ecommerce and marketing has captivated me from the very beginning of the Internet – back when it took two weeks to get a response from a BBS message (and that was fast) – and I have never looked back.

My writing style is a bit unorthodox so I do hope that you don’t expect the status quo here, because you will be sorely disappointed. I plan to bring you information in such a way as to be both educational and entertaining because if you are anything like me, it is far easier to learn when you aren’t bored to death.

My absolute favorite example of marketing brilliance in recent years has got to be something we have all seen at least once, but most don’t even realize that it is marketing at all. Does the name Chris Crocker ring a bell? How about the now infamous (and oft parodied) “Leave Britney Alone” video?

Pure marketing genius.

Over the coming days, weeks and months it is my intent to smack your senses around a bit and give your ideas about ecommerce and marketing a good, swift kick in the pants. I want you to think about and see Internet marketing in a new and different light, and to start seeing the marketing value in the things that other people often overlook.

Observation is what sets marketers in a class all their own because they see dollar signs in the unorthodox. And that folks, is where the money is.

Introducing CigarPlace.biz

by Siddhartha Naithani - May 8th, 2008

Julian Gomez knows the cigar business. From selling door-to-door to Miami gas stations to managing premium cigar warehouses, he’s done it all. In 2003, Julian began selling cigars on ebay and instantly recognized the power of the Internet to take his enterprise global.

Julian saved enough money from ebay earnings to buy a simple shopping cart. Selling cigars from his apartment, Julian focused on two fundamental principles:

  • Know your customers.
  • Know your cigars.

Since then, CigarPlace.biz has grown into a world class online destination for cigar connoisseurs from Wisconson to Tokyo.

In 2007, Julian realized that the future of CigarPlace.biz depended on technology that enabled his business to build relationships with customers. With so many competitors entering the market, price was no longer enough; it was time to step up and lead.

CigarPlace.biz contacted Ecommerce Partners with an idea of making a site that empowered customers to discover new cigars and provided deeper insights into the products. Julian wanted to give the kind of personal service he perfected on the streets of Miami to the online world. His ambitions required a partner who had the patience to understand his vision and the skills to execute.

Over the next six months, Ecommerce Partners worked hand-in-hand with Julian to meld his vision and knowledge with the latest web technologies. ECP provided its core ecommerce 3 engine with extensive modifications to allow easy navigation via precise, industry-specific details. The result is the new CigarPlace.biz, the most comprehensive portal for cigar sales.

Ecommerce Partners is proud to support CigarPlace.biz and Julian as they move this online industry to the next level with ongoing marketing, hosting and development support.

We have a great site, with unique features not seen in this industry and a go-forward plan to keep CigarPlace.biz as the number one location for premium cigars.

Have you ever been to New Sanfrankota? (yes, this place is in the US too!)

by William Alvarez - December 27th, 2007

Erasing the name Cingular off the face of the earth is no easy job, especially after investing millions to raise high blue bars at every corner. The wireless carrier’s ads were ubiquitous before evaporating in an instant. Well, perhaps AT&T is feeling some remorse for killing off Cingular, so it’s promoting the creation of new names to express the strength of their cellular. Such is the case with New Sanfrankota*, a place somewhere between New York, San Francisco and the Dakotas, or Kantukornia*, where Kansas, Kentucky and California “meet.”

For their new Where Do You Live campaign, AT&T collects your submissions–via a simple and clean Flash interface at www.attwheredoyoulive.com–and quickly makes fun merchandise available for purchase including shirts, mugs, bags, and stickers, all featuring the name of your new place and it’s motto.  Its a fantastic example of 360 degree online branding; you create their promotional items and then pay for the right to display them!

* Click here for specific directions to San Frankota and Kantukornia, some errant traveler in our company might have already visited there.
