With their diverse backgrounds and varied areas of expertise, the members of our leadership team offer a unique blend of Internet and ecommerce experience, online creativity, and ebusiness know how. Meet the leaders:
Gil Levy, Founder and Managing Partner
Gil directs ECommerce Partner’s sales and business activities. A widely recognized software and ecommerce guru, Gil discovered his passion for IT early on. While serving in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), he developed a revolutionary time scheduling solution for soldiers. After moving to New York, in 1992, Gil held various leadership positions at premier technology outfits. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer at WBS.com, a Netscape consulting firm. Prior to that he served as Chief Technology Officer at Worldwide Corporate Network where he organized the first-ever online trade conference broadcasted live from Bloomberg Studio.
Asi Erenberg, Founder and Managing Partner
Asi focuses on strategic planning and business development at ECommerce Partners. A digital media aficionado, Asi is considered an authority in cutting-edge ecommerce technology and advanced user interface solutions. He developed internal best practices and methodologies to spot online trends, enhance user experiences, generate traffic and maximize conversions – all of which are now routinely used at ECommerce Partners to create successful ebusinesses for some of the world’s leading brands. Before co-founding ECommerce Partners, Asi started NIT Connect and NIT Health, two successful computer networking technology companies. He is also a prolific author, writing regularly about the latest advances in ecommerce.
Jakob Schwerdt, CEO
Jakob is in charge of the day-to-day operational management of ECommerce Partners driving the company’s ongoing success and strategic growth. Jakob has more than 20 years of hi-tech and management experience. He co-founded Varetis, an international telecom outfit that developed cutting-edge national and international directory solutions. Under his leadership, the company became a multi-million dollar corporation with over 200 employees across five international subsidiaries. Jakob also served as CEO of AllCharge, an online monetization platform for digital content commerce, where he raised Series A and B financing and engineered a successful exit merging the company with an IBM spin-off.
Dennis Consorte, CMO
Dennis is responsible for ECommerce Partners’ overall marketing vision. He also helps customers enhance their online marketing and branding efforts with advanced solutions, including affiliate management and video optimization. Prior to joining ECommerce Partners, Dennis founded a successful online subscription-based website, which he sold two years after launch. A tech-savvy ecommerce professional with over 10 years of experience in Internet marketing, SEO, and SEM, Dennis is a popular speaker at industry meetings, including the Internet Retailer conference and the Linkshare Symposium. He is regularly interviewed and quoted in trade publications on topics related to ecommerce.
Rogel Sokolin-Maimon, COO
Rogel oversees ECommerce Partners’ design and development teams focusing on seamless project execution. He devises innovative methodologies to continuously drive the quality and efficiency of ECommerce Partners’ applications. Rogel has extensive experience in managing the development, deployment, and support of online solutions. He is also an expert in supervising and motivating large teams. Prior to joining ECommerce Partners, Rogel held the position of Program Manager at MetTel, a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC).
Andrew Gonsalves, CTO
Andrew is responsible for the architecture and development of ECommerce Partners’ advanced solutions and technologies. Bringing over 10 years of internet technology experience to ECP's robust marketing background, Andrew drives the adoption of new and effective products that benefit our clients and their customers with functionality and performance. In addition to his heroics at ECommerce Partners, Andrew is an outspoken technology advocate, having appeared on numerous radio shows to discuss his published works.
David Rashty, Senior Information Architect
David is in charge of creating cutting-edge IA concepts, design specifications, and deliverables for our clients’ websites and applications. An expert in web technology and all aspects of UX, David relentlessly drives the performance and usability of our interfaces. He works with clients to understand what their customers need and how they think, and creates highly intuitive user experiences that synergistically support corporate goals. Before joining ECommerce Partners, David has started and sold several successful high-tech ventures, including consulting and software development firm Addwise and e-learning provider Snunit. He also served as consultant to leading companies and government bodies around the world. A proud recipient of numerous international awards, David has been honored by, among others, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Sun Microsystems.
Mark Matsebeker, Account Executive
Mark manages the daily activities for some of ECommerce Partner’s most prominent clients and serves as their primary point of contact, coordinating timelines and making sure projects are executed on time, on budget, and on target. Mark has over 10 years of experience building and maintaining high-end, high- traffic websites for clients, such as Bloomingdales, Zegna, Fine Stationary, and B&H Photo. Specializing in high-revenue, complex websites, Mark combines ecommerce savvy, online marketing expertise, and a dedication to customer care to deliver online solutions that consistently exceed expectations.
Josh Zizmor – Account Executive
Josh manages multiple accounts at ECommerce Partners, effectively liaising between clients and internal resources, and providing hands-on guidance to ensure the timely, successful execution of all projects. A recognized ebusiness whiz with profound ecommerce and SEO expertise, Josh has over eight years of experience in online marketing, web production, merchandizing tools and IT engineering. Prior to joining ECommerce Partners, he held leading positions at several Internet retailers. At Artisanal Premium Cheese in New York City, he developed and implemented all online marketing campaigns and directed a team of designers, coders and user-interface specialists to continuously enhance the site’s appearance and functionality. Josh also produced advanced websites for major TV stations, such as Thirteen WNET.
Maya Mordoch – CFO Accounting
Maya is responsible for ECommerce Partners’ accounting and finance activities, preparing all necessary documents from payroll to tax returns, and ensuring effective financial reporting and corporate governance. Maya also oversees the overall financial strategy of the company and is in charge of ECommerce Partners’ banking and financial relationships. Prior to joining the company, Maya held a number of leading finance and operations positions in corporate environments and at international hedge funds.
Hilli Kushnir - Art Director
Hilli is overseeing ECommerce Partners creative output. An exceptionally gifted artist, Hilli specializes in online graphics and illustration. She creates original brand characters and avatars, and constantly pushes the limits of innovative web design to maximize aesthetic pleasure and business appeal. Hilli worked at major retailers, including American Greetings, New Line Cinema, and Perry Ellis, where she created advanced online marketing materials and campaigns. Most recently, Hilli served as a designer and illustrator for leading Internet company IAC, where she worked on assets for the Webfetti and Zwinky brands.
Sushi - Chief Ice Breaker
Sushi is in charge of charming clients and keeping staff members on their toes with an astonishing gamut of tricks and quirks. A Japanese Chin of ancient lineage, Sushi combines aristocratic demeanor with agile playfulness and amazing intelligence seamlessly matching ECommerce Partners unique blend of quality, creativity and professional know how. Before joining ECommerce Partners in 2007, Sushi served as de facto boss in Asi Erenberg’s apartment. Today, she spends her time at the agency headquarters spreading joy and reminding customers and coworkers alike that there is life outside of online.
